11 years after setting up M.i. Media, Clive Howse, is moving into a CEO role at the agency. As part of a broader revamp, Richard Slater is promoted into an MD role to head up an all-new Management board. Rich has been a key player in the agency’s growth having moved to the agency soon after its inception.
In the short months since moving to the role, his refreshed approach has meant he and the team have started with a bang, winning a number of new clients; Yopa, Currensea, Mojo Dementia and PGMBM. Clive sees this as a critical stage in the next chapter of M.i.’s growth - having launched the agency in 2009 just before the last recession, he is no stranger to adversity and has a firm view on how to ensure M.i. can give clients what they need in the new normal:
As an independent agency our agility, the ability to quickly redirect clients, support our staff and make our own business adjustments has been central to our clients’ and our own success. This new structure will ensure the right media strategies can be delivered across our clients, continue to protect our staff and culture and future proof the agency… I’ve also promoted myself up to CEO which I’m delighted about!”
With full responsibility for the leadership of a new management board Rich will play a key role in meeting the company’s growth goals as well as building on the company’s reputation for strong service delivery and being a great place to work. Rich;

The agency revamp is not limited to just changes in how the company is run, M.i. have also been on a recruitment drive to support the continued growth of the digital team as well as just securing a new FD Jerome Charles and new Investment Director Jo Blake. Jerome was previously Head of Finance at Havas’ Digital Trading Desk, Affiperf whilst Jo was Head of Adcity, Havas. After growing by over a quarter in the last 12 months the company are now embracing 2021 confidently, developing new products and introducing new company initiatives. Watch this space!
