8 brave members of the M.i Media crew are heading off to Brighton on Friday 20th September on a 60 mile long bike ride. Their objective – to raise money for an amazing charity.
‘Wheels for Wellbeing’ is a charity helping disabled children and adults who face barriers in taking part in physical activities. Since 2007, they’ve made it their mission to enhance disabled people’s lives by ensuring access to physical, emotional, practical and social benefits of riding a bike. Once disabled people reach the age of 25, their opportunities decrease dramatically and many find themselves without purpose finding employment, social interactions and friendships hard. Organisations like Wheels For Wellbeing give them chances to meet and associate with other like-minded people and offers an external support system.
M.i. Media’s enthusiastic team, many of whom ride to work on a daily basis, know that cycling can give a huge amount of satisfaction and are looking forward to the sense of achievement when they hit the Brighton seafront and meet their goal.
